Single-stage Coal Gasifier


Single-stage coal gasifiers are core pieces of equipment for clean coal gasification in industry. Using coal or coke as raw material and a mixture of air and steam as gasifying agent, they produce mixed gas through layered reactions inside the furnace. They are widely used for heating, calcination, drying and other processes in building materials, metallurgy, chemical engineering, environmental protection and other industries. Core Structure and Working Principle

 

The single-stage gasifier consists of furnace cover, water jacket, grate, base plate, air inlet box and other key components, adopting an overall water jacket structure for both safety and high efficiency. The furnace cover is lined with refractory and thermal insulation castable to ensure heat insulation and structural stability. The water jacket is equipped with a natural circulation system, and the self-produced steam directly participates in the reaction as gasifying agent, reducing energy consumption and improving gasification efficiency.

 

The interior is divided into drying layer, carbonization layer, reduction layer, oxidation layer and ash layer. After pretreatment, raw materials are fed from the top, and gasifying agent is evenly introduced from the bottom. Coal is fully burned in the oxidation layer to release heat, creating conditions for the reduction layer, finally generating crude gas containing CO and H₂ discharged from the top.
